African Percussion Experience
with Griffin Brady
Southtowns Music Center is excited to welcome Griffin Brady for a Monthly African Percussion Experience — an immersive, hands-on drumming workshop inspired by the rich rhythms of West Africa.
This class is open to all ages and abilities. Whether you are brand new to drumming or an experienced player looking to deepen your groove, you’ll be guided through traditional rhythms, call-and-response, and the joyful feeling of making music together as a community.
A variety of hand drums will be available, and participants are also encouraged to bring their own instruments if they have them. Come ready to move, listen, laugh, and connect — no prior experience required.
